Because of the postal disruption caused by the snow, we delayed the drawing of the prize-winners of the Brent Lodge Christmas Draw until Thursday 14 January, to ensure that all tickets that had been sent by mail were given a fair chance to get to Brent Lodge.

The winners of the draw were as follows:

£1,000: Mrs E J Hawkins of Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.

£200: Mrs W Chaffey of Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire.

£100: Mrs D Hilderbrando of Bordon, Hampshire.

£20 of shopping vouchers: Mr D & Mrs J Lesser of Chichester; Mrs S Smith of Pagham; St. Albans Church, Copnor; Mrs D Wooldridge of Climping; Ms C Poyser of Middleton-on-Sea.

The draw raised valuable funds for Brent Lodge, netting over £3,000 profit.
